Hot Rolled Coil / Packeded Sheet

Hot Rolled Coil / Packeded Sheet is obtained through the rolling process above the recrystallisation temperature of steel; at high temperatures (1700 °F and above),. At temperatures above this point, steel can be shaped and sized. Hot rolled sheet (steel) is generally cheaper than cold rolled steel since it does not experience any interruptions or reheating during production. When steel cools, it shrinks to a certain degree, resulting in less control over the dimensions and shape of the final product compared to cold-rolled products.

Applications: Hot rolled sheets are primarily used in various fields such as shipbuilding, energy transmission lines, pipe and  profile production, construction, highway barriers and plates, container and machinery manufacturing industries.
