Slab

Slab is produced by smelting iron ore to obtain liquid iron. This liquid iron is then cast into slabs or billets. Slabs are transported to rolling mills before being transformed into various steel products through rolling or other processes. In the steel industry, slabs are considered a fundamental intermediate product used in the production of various steel products.
